Roger Dignard

Principal Architect

Roger DignardRoger is originally from northern NH and returned to work in the Manchester area after his architecture education. His work experience soon began to be primarily healthcare and that has continued to this day.  Having gained 20 years of experience as a project manager in a couple of large firms, he felt it was time to have greater independence and control over the projects and their delivery process, in 1997 he founded Dignard Architectural Services.  He is actively involved in all of the office’s work; contributing his experience and perspective. Roger has a passion for work and detail.  His approach is marked by a commitment to client service, along with a penchant for the practical.

He has had a lifelong interest in issues of energy and environment in the built environment; part of a reduced impact philosophy. He began applying this interest in the 1970’s with passive solar design projects and better insulated buildings, including his first home; he is enjoying the current interest and applications of these precepts in our projects.

In his spare time Roger enjoys designing and fabricating sundials, visiting art galleries and museums, and cooking for friends and family.
